Seeking Postdocs

Announcement
|
I am officially starting my Assistant Professor position at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey this October and as I setup my lab, I am looking for fantastic postdoctoral fellows to join my team. Please refer to the following link for the job positing and to apply: https://lnkd.in/e7V8jt7Brief description of the lab:Research in the Madireddy lab focuses on elucidating the molecular mechanisms that underlie the pathogenesis of cancer-predisposition syndromes and hematological malignancies. In particular, we are exploring the contribution of defective replication, transcription and repair to genomic instability in Fanconi anemia (FA) (Madireddy and Gerhardt, 2017; Madireddy et al., 2016) and other diseases. We are employing a unique and specialized set of tools, which include our locus-specific single molecule assay to study DNA replication, cytogenetics, and genomics, to test our hypotheses. Additional broad areas of research emphasis include: Non-B DNA at genomic hotspots of fragility, chromosomal segregation defects and transcription: replication conflicts. You can apply through the Rutgers link but are also welcome to email a cover letter (with expected start date), CV, and the contact information of 3 references to me @ advaitha.madireddy@rutgers.edu "
